Public-private partnerships are a win-win for everyone. They multiply the possibilities and they make big dreams a reality.
The City of Overland Park, Kansas, (www.opkansas.org) and the Arts and Recreation Foundation share a vision for the future of our community that includes increased cultural, recreational and educational opportunities for all who visit and live in Overland Park. The Arts and Recreation Foundation invites individuals, corporations and foundations to join in these efforts and become part of creating a legacy of beauty, family entertainment and recreation for years to come.
Planning is underway for:
- The new Observation Silos and General Store at the Farmstead
- The new Rose Garden, expansion of the Iris Garden, the new Railroad Garden and the Camellia Conservatory at the Arboretum
- Completion of the City's Master Plan for Public Art that calls for 27 pieces of outdoor sculpture in public places throughout the city.
