Environmental Education/Visitors Center

Dedicated in 1999, the Environmental Education Visitors Center (EEVC) showcases innovative and practical environmental building features and technology, including:

• Geothermal heating and cooling
• Passive solar power
• Argon-filled windows
• Insulated ceiling panels
• Radiant fireplace insert

The facility accommodates learning programs and social events and is available for rental. The EEVC has restrooms accessible from outside and inside the building. It is open to the public.
