Rental Facilities

The Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is a lovely place for a wedding or a family picnic.  Weddings can be held at the Lakeside Amphitheater.  Small weddings can be held in several gardens.  Our Pavilion picnic shelter can accommodate up to 50 people. Rental Fees

Friends of the Arboretum (FOTA) Volunteers assist with Weddings at the OPABG.  The volunteers are Wedding Administrators.  Wedding permits are obtained from Leisure Services of the City of Overland Park, please contact Leisure Services at 895-6390 or online at: www.opkansas.org

When the permit is received from the city a call is made to the permit holder to explain the Wedding Administrator Program, which is to coordinate and oversee the wedding activities as they may affect the facility and insurance compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.  For this service there is a fee payable to the Friends of the Arboretum.
