There are many ways for you to support the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens — through volunteering, becoming a member, corporate sponsorship or through a gift made in tribute or honor of a friend or family member.

Volunteers assist in many ways at the OPABG. Opportunities include Greeters at the EEVC, Gardening, Docents (Tour Guides), Activities and Events (Arts for Kids 2-12), Holiday Luminary Walk, Spring and Fall Plant Sales, and specialized tasks. Four times a year volunteer training sessions are held to share information about volunteering and the OPABG.

The OPABG has grown as a result of Donor assistance. The EEVC (Environmental Education Visitors Center) and the Botanical Gardens were built as a result of donor contributions. The gardens and arboretum are enjoyed by thousands each year.
